For the future of our children, who will grow up in a world increasingly shaped by AI, understanding that these systems are designed with ethical considerations in mind is crucial for their safety, their rights, and their ability to engage with technology responsibly.


The World Economic Forum stresses that building responsible AI through “Ethics by Design” is essential for fostering trust. The complexities of legal personhood and liability for AI, as discussed in the Harvard Law Review, further underscore the necessity of proactive ethical design to clarify responsibility from the outset.

The implications of adopting “Ethics by Design” are far-reaching, impacting not only the technical development of AI but also organisational culture, legal frameworks, and educational curricula.
