It can manage inboxes, send messages, move information between apps, and even trigger financial actions, depending on what permissions you grant it. That is exactly why it matters. The Guardian described OpenClaw’s rapid rise and the risks of giving agents broad powers with minimal oversight. The excitement is real, but so are the warning signs. This is not a niche tech drama. It is a preview of what happens when autonomous agents become normal, and when the gap between capability and governance becomes too wide to ignore.
